Another cemetary planned for Greendale

Residents in Greendale, Wallacia and Bringelly are very concerned about the proposal to to build a multi denominational cemetary with 70,000 graves, a crematorium, a flower shop and a cafe. The site is on Greendale Road between Wallacia and Bringelly. Liverpool Council has invited residents to comment before the 4th June. Detailed plans are available [...]

Mulgoa Idol 2010

Anzac Day was Mulgoa Idol night with entertainment from the Mulgoa Road Jazz Band and local talent. Miles Stepniewski, from Mulgoa, and Jonathan Dunn won this presigious award with a comedy piano duet of the Hungarian Rhapsody which turned into a very entertaining duel! Mulgoa doctor Adrian Sheen organises this fund raising evening every year. [...]

Francine’s Cabbage Project

Francine Buttigieg from Silverdale recently went to Brisbane as a finalist for the Australian Stockholm Junior Water prize. She was one of just 3 senior students selected to compete for the national prize. Sweetpea is a winner

Ashleigh Kuipers from Mulgoa is just 13 but already has a prize winning Australian lowline heifer. Sweetpea won the ‘Supreme beef exhibit’ at the Luddenham show and went on to be second in Royal Canberra show. She was then going on to the Royal Easter Show in Sydney.
