Eleven eager Legobuilders competed in the first annual Silverdale Progress Hall Lego Competition.Sarah McMullen is pictured making a great start.
They all had great fun building for an hour and it was very difficult to judge.
The winners were:
2-5yrs: Zavier Sawyer,
6-8yrs: Clayton Grey,
9-11yrs: Ben McCarthy.
Winners of the Lego lucky prize draws were Thomas Sullivan and Zeina Sawyer. $84 was raised on the day
A huge thanks to Bob Johnson (aka “Bob the Painter”), The Progress Hall’s president for donating the Lego prizes for the lucky prize draw. We would like to thank Fiona Devine from the “Dilly Wanderer” (Council’s mobile playgroup and Early Childhood Information Service) for being the guest judge. Thanks also to Leanne Franklin, Joyce Livesey, and Joanne Sultana for their donations of cakes and slices and Lynette McMullen for organising the event.
Additional help is urgently needed to keep the Silverdale Hall open.
